Brabourne Sponsors VdeV Racing Team.
Brabourne has announced its sponsorship of the John Danby Racing [JDR] Ligier LS49 VdeV motor racing team for 2007. This CN class sports prototype provides highly impressive on track performance and is the closest formula to the LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes that race at the Le Mans 24 hours endurance classic.
The car is equipped with radio communications equipment supplied by BCL. Additionally the pit crew employ the Entel HX481 UHF portable with Sordin heavy duty headsets. Circuit coverage is supplied by a portable ICOM MRPU06 repeater. Brabourne has significant experience at designing and developing race car communications systems and the agreement with JDR racing team will see the Brabourne sponsored car at the following VdeV events during the 2007 season:- Val de Ven, Belgium 5th & 6th May Brands Hatch, UK 23rd & 24th June Dijon, France, 7th & 8th July Snetterton, UK, 21st & 22nd July Spa, Belgium, 25th & 26th August Ledenon, France, 29th & 30th September Magny Cours, France, 27th & 28th October Estoril, Portugal, 24th & 25th November
